Biography:

Casey O'Malley was born in 1989 and raised in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.  She hated reading and writing for years until her mother ordered her to read Harry Potter.  Currently, Casey has read the first Harry Potter book over twenty eight times.
Casey decided at the age of ten that if she couldn't be a famous singer, than she had no choice but to become a famous writer.  She entered her first poetry contest in fourth grade and fell hopelessly in love with the genre.
Casey worked in several jobs, from an exterior janitor at a condominium complex to a tutor and gymnastics instructor.   She graduated East Greenwich High School in 2008.
She is currently attending University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in Creative Writing.  Her most recent love is performance poetry and urban fantasy.
She knows more about pirates than she would like to admit and spends much of her time trying to get lost in the woods.
Her future remains a dark, dangerous thing, but if writing never works out, she plans on becoming a professor and teaching modern poetry.   Her other hobbies include photography, singing, hiking and spending as much time with her dogs as possible.
